1. Definitions

In these Terms:

• “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Tack Shop, operating from 41 Park Rd, Peterborough, GB PE2U 2AW.
• “You”, “Your”, “Customer” refers to the user of the website and/or purchaser of goods.
• “Goods” refers to the equestrian products listed for sale on our website.
• “Order” means your formal offer to purchase Goods from us.
• “Contract” means the legally binding agreement formed when we accept your Order.

2. Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and product descriptions, is the property of Tack Shop or our suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may browse and shop for personal, non-commercial use only. Any unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution of site content is strictly prohibited.

3. Product Information & Service Description

We take great care to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and prices are accurate. However, slight variations in colour or design may occur. Images are for illustrative purposes. Our product range is curated for the equestrian community and includes:

• Equestrian Apparel & Safety Gear: Including competition wear, body protectors, chaps, and children’s riding clothing.
• Horse Tack & Care: Including bridles, saddle pads, grooming tools (brushes, clippers), and horse health products.
• Accessories & Stable Supplies: Including boots, buckets, and competition accessories.

We reserve the right to correct any errors and to update information at any time without prior notice.

4. Orders & The Contract

4.1 Placing an Order

By placing an Order, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4.2 Order Acceptance

Your Order constitutes an offer to buy. The Contract is only formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any Order before dispatch, including for reasons of stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

4.3 Order Modifications & Cancellations

If you need to change or cancel an Order, please contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will try to accommodate your request if the Order has not yet been processed for dispatch.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in British Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect Orders already accepted.

5.1 Payment Methods

We accept secure payments via Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Payment is deducted at the time your Order is placed.

5.2 Your Payment Obligations

You must ensure your payment details are correct and that sufficient funds are available. If payment fails, we will be unable to process or dispatch your Order.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We ship worldwide, excluding some remote areas and parts of Asia (as indicated at checkout).

6.1 Processing & Dispatch

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days (Mon-Fri, excl. public holidays).

6.2 Shipping Options & Your Costs

• Standard Shipping (Tracked): £12.95 via DHL/FedEx. Estimated delivery 10-15 business days post-dispatch.
• Free Shipping (Economy): Free on orders over £50 via EMS. Estimated delivery 15-25 business days post-dispatch.

Delivery times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by customs, local carriers, or unforeseen events. Tracking links are provided where available.

6.3 Delivery & Risk

Risk of loss or damage to the Goods passes to you upon delivery to the address you provided. It is your responsibility to inspect Goods upon delivery and report any visible damage to the carrier immediately.

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Your satisfaction is paramount. Please see our detailed Shipping & Returns Policy for full information. Key terms are summarised below.

7.1 Returns Window & Process

You have 15 calendar days from receipt to initiate a return or exchange for non-faulty items. You must:

1. Contact us at [email protected] within the period to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number.
2. Return the item in its original, unused condition with all tags and packaging.
3. Ship the item to our provided address using a tracked service. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a faulty item.

7.2 Non-Returnable Items (For Hygiene & Safety)

To protect all customers and horses, the following cannot be returned unless faulty or incorrectly sent:

• Opened or used health, grooming, or supplement products (e.g., NAF D-tox, creams, liquids).
• Body protectors and custom-fitted safety gear unless sealed.
• Used grooming tools (brushes, clippers).
• Personalised items or final sale goods.

7.3 Refunds

Upon approval of your return, refunds for the product price will be issued to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

7.4 Exchanges

Exchanges for size/colour are subject to stock. Follow the return process and clearly state your exchange request.

8. Your Responsibilities

• To provide accurate account and delivery information.
• To use products, especially safety gear like body protectors and horse boots, for their intended purpose and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• To ensure any item (e.g., bridles, children’s body protectors) is the correct fit and specification for your or your horse’s needs before use.
• To notify us promptly of any issues with your Order.

9. Liability Limitations

It is your responsibility to ensure that any equestrian equipment is fitted, used, and maintained correctly.

10. General Provisions

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to Terms: We may update these Terms periodically. The version published on our website at the time of your Order is the version that applies.

Severability: If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remainder will continue in full force and effect.
